Erosion Hill in Sandpoint, Idaho
The slope on the south side of this Sandpoint, Idaho home consisted of a very fine, silty soil, and
numerous groundwater springs. The challenge was to give the homeowner a path to
their dock while stabilizing the hillside. Sandpoint landscaper Special Additions Landscaping, LLC,
cut a grassway from the upper patio to the dock and an extensive planting scheme was designed to cover the remaining
hillside with color—and more importantly, roots!
