Old European - Coeur d'Alene

This Coeur d'Alene landscaping project began with extensive demolition. The existing driveway, patio, staircase, and water feature were demolished and removed. Approximately 350 yards of fill material were used to raise the grades of the landscaping around the home. A large staircase to the front door was created by incorporating large basalt columns with Pennsylvania sandstone. The water feature and pond incorporated basalt bird baths and columnar basalt pillars. Perhaps the most exciting aspect of this project was the opportunity to work with 200 year-old stone pavers originally quarried in Europe that were used to build the driveway.
