Spokane Garden Revival
This landscape was a blank slate. Not in content, but in color. The original brickwork of the garden walls had been painted white and the
existing patio was 50-year old gray concrete. Black basalt stone was used to retain the lawn above the patio; in a word, lifeless.
“The Gardener”, Patti Jester, created a plan to bring life back to the garden. Your Spokane landscaper, Special Additions Landscaping, LLC, performed
a Spokane garden revival by first sandblasting the existing brick walls to reveal their true identity. The dilapidated concrete patio was removed and
replaced with a red clay paver patio. The masonry subcontractor was able to mimic the existing brick walls of the garden by replacing the basalt
stone retaining wall with brick and a simple concrete cap. A brick BBQ was built directly off the kitchen for easy access.
